Virtual Parade of Homes TourPosted:
Each year, local Home Builders Associations host a Parade of Homes to showcase the latest in new construction homes. Working with our builder partners, Marsh Kitchen & Bath often has the opportunity to participate in this event by designing kitchens, baths, mudrooms, wet bars, and other rooms to be showcased in the homes. If you missed this year’s Parade, or if you want some inspiration for your next remodel project in honor of National Home Remodeling Month, read on for a virtual tour of two homes that were featured during this event.
The Parade of Homes allows the public to tour newly built homes from some of the most talented builders in the area. The first home in our virtual tour was part of Winston Salem’s Spring Parade of Homes. Built by Lee Riddle Construction, this house features the work of Marsh Kitchen & Bath’s Terry Lilly.
Terry designed this spacious kitchen using Marsh Cabinets’ Canvas finish on the perimeter. To continue the grounded, earthy theme, Terry designed a large island with Marsh’s Saddle finish. The dark brown stain provides a contrast against the light perimeter cabinetry while complementing the dark barstools and rich hardwood floor.
Custom kitchen features abound with backlit glass door displays, a custom range hood, and furniture legs on the island.
The next room on our tour is the master bathroom, also designed by Terry Lilly. Moving away from the earth tones, this room is bright and open for an optimal spa-like environment.
Outfitted with a double vanity, standalone shower, and large soaker tub, this bathroom takes full advantage of natural lighting to create the ultimate luxury retreat.
Now that we’ve seen our favorite spaces in this beautiful home, it’s time to tour the next home. The house we’ll see next was part of the Greensboro Parade of Homes and was built by Monarch Homes. This virtual home tour will take us through the kitchen, master bath, two spare bathrooms, and even a wet bar! The spaces in this home were designed by Carol Van Zile of our Marsh Kitchen & Bath Greensboro location.
We’ll begin our tour in the heart of the home, an expansive gourmet kitchen with some of our favorite Marsh Cabinets products.
The new kitchen design, like the rest of the home, is more than just a space that brings the wow factor. Hidden behind custom cabinet doors are Marsh custom cabinet solutions that take advantage of every inch of space in order to maximize storage capabilities. From island and pantry storage to lazy Susans and spice racks, this kitchen takes organization to the next level.
Ready to see the next room? This home has three bathrooms with Marsh custom cabinets, including a luxe master bath.
The subtle, painted finishes on these vanities lend the bathrooms a calming abmiance while their bold fixtures add a touch of glamour.
Stealing the show is the master bath with its enviable double vanity, dazzling flooring, and soothing shower and soaker tub.
The last space we’ll see in this spectacular home is a downstairs wet bar that’s perfect for entertaining. While we specialize in kitchen and bath design, Marsh Kitchen & Bath designers can create any space you need, from wet bars to home offices. With its moody, graphite finish, this wet bar sets the tone for late night gatherings with friends and family.
Even in this small area, designer Carol Van Zile found ways to include appropriate storage space. Among the most popular Marsh Cabinets features used in this space is the convenient dual recycling-trash bin compartment, neatly tucked away in a soft-close drawer.
With this wet bar, we’ve concluded our virtual Parade of Homes tour. Though we’ve come to the end of this tour, your home design inspiration doesn’t have to stop here.
